LEI Checker

The GLEIF LEI checker is the official, fastest, & most accurate way to check on the current status of any LEI. Conducting an LEI Check Up allows you to view any legal entity with an LEI code. You can view where the LEI was issued, when the company has last renewed, and whether the LEI code is currently active. The LEI code may be required to be active for regulatory reporting purposes, hence it may be crucial to use the LEI Check Up too to keep track of not only your organisations Legal Entity Identifier, but also your clients – if they too, need an active LEI. 

To use the LEI number checker, simply access the GLEIF LEI Check Up Tool, search for the legal entity you wish to view and then click ‘Check LEI Code’. This will provide you with that LEIs search result page and the entities LEI information, and key reference data will be visible.
